The Challenge

Higher education is instrumental for fostering growth, reducing poverty and boosting shared prosperity. That is why we focus on higher education.

If we are to solve the challenges related to climate change and the environment, we need trained engineers with competencies to build sustainable infrastructure, we need architects to envision and design sustainable cities, we need biologists that understand how to preserve our nature, and we need politicians with the necessary understanding of the importance of these issues.

“Well-educated families get healthier children, have reduced family size, increase overall wealth, and cope with economic shocks better”

Colette Thornicroft
